Co. of Am., 446 F.2d 1187, 1190 (9th Cir. 1970) ("[T]he existence of diversity jurisdiction must be sufficient on the face of the complaint[.]"); Johnson v. Columbia Props. Anchorage, LP, 437 F.3d 894, 899 (9th Cir. 2006) (holding that an LLC "is a citizen of every state of which its owners/members are citizens."). Accordingly, the Court ORDERS Plaintiff to SHOW CAUSE by January 23, 2025 why its complaint should not be dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Alternatively, Plaintiff may file an amended complaint by that date that adequately sets forth the basis for this Court's subject matter jurisdiction. (NAW)
